1. Efficient and practical synthesis of highly valued natural products and derivativ.
2. Novel synthetic methodology.

Zhongliu was born and raised in a small city of Xiaogan, Hubei province. He began undergraduate studies at Wuhan institute of Technology in 2015, and obtained his B.S. degree in chemistry in 2019. In the fall of 2019, he began Master’s studies at Northwest University under the direction of Prof. Xiangdong Hu. During this period, Zhongliu completed total Synthesis of (+)-3-Deoxyfortalpinoid F, (+)-Fortalpinoid A, and (+)-Cephinoid H in 2021.
